My First Post

So here is my first post! This is my weight loss journey with the gastric sleeve.

A little background info:
I am 35 years old with 2 children- ages 3 months and 5 years. All my life I have battled with my weight. There was a point in my life where I lost a lot of weight due to being on adderall, smoking, and drinking tons of coffee. If you could say addiction I would concur. I lead a very unhealthy lifestyle. I have decided to go down another route for a healthier life. The Gastric Sleeve. I found out on Friday, February 15th, 2013 that I have been approved by my insurance company to get the Gastric Sleeve surgery. My surgery date is Friday, March 1st, 2013. I am beyond excited and I am looking forward to a healthier life with myself and my family. This blog has been created to record my feelings as I start this new chapter of my life. I feel like I have been given another chance at health and I want to remember it for ever. I hope you enjoy the ride.
